Meet our Team of One

24+ years of experience
I’ve been teaching English since the year 2000. And doing it for institutions since 2004. I still think I have a lot to learn.
I prepare the classes, build the sites, record and edit tiktok videos, write handouts that I pretend are “books”. All by myself.

English Grammar for Desperate People
Secondary school teens seemed to remember they needed to pass English exams during my vacation. Tired of deflecting calls for help I sat down and wrote a 250-page, 43-unit grammar book to help teenagers pass exams. The title is featured as a podcast and you can even get the book for free in the link below.
Boost your online class creativity
In 2022 I was asked to create a workshop to tell younger teachers how to generate good rapport in online classes. I wrote around 50 pages of how old and new teaching models play out in a post pandemic world. I advocated for human connection, fun and immediate answers to real time student questions and interests.

I am said to be intense
I wish I were cool and collected. I wish I could seat at the back of the room and just listen but that is not me. I hope that intensity shows I’m present. I don’t teach classes or create courses merely to make money. I do it to make the world a better place and restore balance to the galaxy.
200 hours a month
I taught a records 200 hours a month in 2021. I’ve learned my lesson since then.
Since 1997
I used cassette tapes to play listening comprehension exercises. Now I stream videos to my student.
I have no boundaries now
I used to be limited by the location of my house. Now the only limit is time zones.
